Student Council - Grades 4-5

Student Council

Kyrene Traditional Academy holds one student council made up of two different branches to serve the needs of our K-8 academy. Our two branches consist of 4^th-5^th grade council and 6^th-8^th grade council. Through a structured and supervised process KTA’s council members collaborate to plan school-wide events, fundraisers, organize service projects, and promote school spirit. Students within the council foster strong problem-solving skills, communication strategies, event-planning responsibilities, and learn the importance of budgeting. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to take an active role in making KTA the amazing school that it is and building a strong foundation for future leadership roles.  

 

Meetings are held once a month - the 4^th-5^th grade council meet from 7:35-8:05 and the 6^th-8^th grade council meets from 11:50-12:20.
